Villa Dianella Wine Resort is a beautiful Medicean villa from the 16th century that today welcomes visitors near Vinci, not far from Florence. The 16th-century villa is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees that produce quality Dianella Chianti wines and olive oil, all products you can taste and buy on-site, either in your room, in the wine cellars store or during your meals at the on-site restaurant which just opened a few years ago.

First, let's start with the accommodation: the villa offers six spacious and bright suites on the first floor of the villa, each with its own large bathroom and another 6 suites in the old stables which just recently openedyears of renovation. In each of the suites you will find your own small wine cellar with Dianella wines... so you can open up a bottle to enjoy a glass while you relax in the bathtub or to enjoy outdoors in the garden or terrace watching the sunset.

The villa opens its on-site restaurant to the general public for lunch starting at noon but resort guests get priority. As a wine resort, you could never leave Dianella without a visit to their recently renovated wine cellars and winery. The visit includes the modern cellars where the wines are first pressed and undergo their initial fermentation, as well as the cement vat cellar where several of the estate wines are fermented for longer periods or aged in wooden barriques. In the Vinci countryside

The wine estate is located in a central location in Tuscany, with the Fi-Pi-Li motorway less than 10 minutes away. From there, it is easy to reach all of the main cities in Tuscany as well as other small towns, including San Miniato. Florence is just 30 minutes away, while Pisa is a 40 minute drive from the villa. Siena, Lucca and San Gimignano are 50 to 60 minutes away.

The town of Vinci, hometown to Leonardo da Vinci, is just a few kilometers away and here one can visit Leonardo's home and museum dedicated to his work, as well as find several restaurants and shops.
