Wake up in the Heart of Tuscany
The well furnished agriturismo Podere Torricella, located just outside of Montespertoli near Chianti and Florence, provides you with several scenic panoramas typical of the Tuscan countryside. Amid the vineyards and fields of grain, the rolling hills, and thick green forests the spread of the agriturismo farmstead offers the ideal opportunity to experience the relaxation and tranquility of a morning sunrise, or the sound of the crickets in the evening as the sun begins to set.
The eight vacation apartments with 1 or 2 bedrooms suitable for 2 to 8 persons, are creatively named after the fruit, flowers and fragrances that characterize the Tuscan landscape. The apartments are well equipped, creating an atmosphere of home providing you with all the basic necessities: fresh linens, kitchen crockery and utensils, even the use of a microwave, iron, laundry room and a BBQ.
The large estate promises a serene atmosphere with many little private corners to retreat and relax, enjoying the natural ambiance of country colors. The one bedroom apartments with sofa bed, Orange & Cinnamon and Apples & Walnuts are located on the ground floor and like all of the apartments, boast their own private patio area for meals. There are four apartments with two bedrooms, comprised of a double and two single beds, as well as convenient sofa bed for children or young adults.
All of the holiday rentals are fully furnished with a complete kitchen featuring a stove and refrigerator, and a full bathroom with shower. The apartment Apricot & Jasmine has two bedrooms and includes sofa beds for a total of 8 persons. The soft pastel colors with splashes of natural accents, combine harmoniously with the classical Tuscan architecture. The apartments all feature WiFi service and satellite TV, as well as access to the large shared pool, the ping pong tables and spacious park that surrounds the estate.
Please note that the agriturismo closes in the winter: in 2017, it will be closed from January 9 until March 31st.

Go Out and Explore
Just because you find yourself staying on a beautiful wine producing estate, doesn’t mean that you won’t find time to go on several Tuscan based adventures. The position of Podere Torricella, close to several small towns like Montespertoli and Montelupo with restaurants, quaint vias to stroll and local markets for shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables, is also well placed for access to major roads for venturing out towards many prominent sites throughout the region of Tuscany.
San Gimignano, with its towers and stone cobbled streets and Greve in Chianti, which promises a unique education on the wines of Chianti Classico are both less than an hour from the agriturismo. If you were looking to catch the waves at Cecina or head towards the towards the open air museum at Arezzo for some antique shopping, you will be pleasantly surprised at the panoramic roads about an hour away.
